Warranty Information

The warranty on the door starts the day the door is installed. There is a one year warranty on installation error and defected parts. There is a 10 year warranty for the polycarbonate material against fading and discolouration. If damage does occur to the door, all components of the door sections are replaceable.

** This limited warranty excludes damage caused by error of owner, such as: scratching; damage resulting from exposure to corrosive chemicals, corrosive fumes, condensation water or fire; damages caused by accident, improper use, negligent operation, improper installation, improper maintenance or normal wear; shipping, installation or labour charges; any product or component which is modified, altered, or not party of the original door damages resulting from any circumstances beyond the direct control of J.E.M. if in the first year after installation the door requires service due to installation error or defected parts CALL US IMMEDIATELY! DO NOT call another company, or service it yourself as it will VOID the warranty.

Operation and Maintenance

There is very little maintenance required. Due to the specific materials and excellent finishes, no painting is required. The panels will not rust or rot. The polycarbonate sheets can be easily cleaned with a mild soap and water as needed. Use a pressure washer or garden hose. DO NOT wipe poly carbonate material as you risk scratching it. Proper service to the components is necessary to ensure longevity. Use JB80 Oil or Krown Lubricant on rollers, springs, end hinges and opener chains twice a year. For your convenience and safety, frequently test your door for smooth operation.
